About the event
The S.T.A.B.L.E. Program is an internationally recognized neonatal education course designed for healthcare professionals who care for newborns requiring ongoing assessment and stabilization after resuscitation. This one-day course focuses on the critical period following neonatal resuscitation, providing participants with the knowledge and skills needed to safely stabilize sick infants before transport or transfer to a higher level of care.
Through interactive learning and case-based discussions, participants will explore the six core components of neonatal stabilization represented by the S.T.A.B.L.E. acronym: Sugar and Safe Care, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, and Emotional Support. The course emphasizes evidence-informed practices that support optimal outcomes for vulnerable newborns and their families.
Participants are required to review the S.T.A.B.L.E. 7th Edition textbook and complete the online S.T.A.B.L.E. Foundations pre-course modules prior to attending.
This course is ideal for nurses, physicians, respiratory therapists, midwives, and other healthcare professionals involved in neonatal care.
