Introducing the New Shared Documents Section on the WCHN Website

We’re excited to share a new feature on the Women and Children’s Health Network (WCHN) website designed to make collaboration, communication, and access to resources easier than ever: the Shared Documents Section.

Why We Created It

The Shared Documents Section was developed in response to a growing need across our network for a centralized hub of key materials. Previously, important guides, templates, and tools were scattered across inboxes and platforms, making it difficult for team members and partners to consistently find what they needed. This new section helps to streamline access and ensure everyone is working from the same, up-to-date set of resources.

What It Helps With

The new section supports:

  • Consistent access to essential and current resources

  • Reduced duplication of effort across teams

  • Improved collaboration and knowledge sharing

  • A reliable reference point for onboarding, training, and ongoing support

What You’ll Find

Here, you’ll find a growing list of key documents already uploaded, including:

  • Measles Information Package

  • Mentorship Principals and Guidelines

  • Paeds Badge Card & Neonatal Badge Card

We’re continuing to expand the Shared Documents Section with valuable new content, including:

  • Maternal child competencies

  • Pediatric competencies

  • Additional tools and templates, shaped by ongoing input from our working groups

How to Request or Suggest a Resource

Have an idea or need a specific resource? Right now, the process is intentionally flexible. Most requests and suggestions are made informally through working group meetings or email. If the resource exists, it’s shared. If it doesn’t, we often work together to create something new. Once developed, the resource is reviewed, approved, and uploaded to the Shared Documents Section to benefit the wider network.

Growing With You

This section is designed to evolve alongside our work. Your input helps us keep it useful and relevant, so please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have ideas, documents to share, or suggestions for improvements.

Together, we’re building a stronger, more connected network—one document at a time.
